Scott Thomas Outlar- A Poem

Sacrificial Confusions

Cursed little angel dreams
that scare away the demons
Fought through every nightmare scene
to reach the Holy Halo
Pulled it down around her waist
kissed the center blood there
Held it up above the crown
to pulsate with the fever

Enter the Apocalypse
truth is on the rise now
Cowards with their liar’s lips
start sucking on a tombstone
Here lies what once could have been
if not for interference
A reference to the righteous sin
in graves that keep on giving

High reach for Nirvana’s realm
no gate to keep us locked from
Another search for paradise
lost in fires of confusion
Open wide the seventh seal
the key is found within you
Heaven sent eternal life
a safe haven holds the wounded

Scott Thomas Outlar spends the days flowing and fluxing with the tide of the Tao River, laughing at life's existential problems, and writing prose-fusion poetry dedicated to the Phoenix Generation.  More of his words can be found at 17numa.wordpress.com.
